Sculptor Affiliates Association of New Jersey
Sculptor Affiliates of the Art Center of Northern New Jersey was started by a group of three dimensional arists in 1972. Its president at that time was Mr. Fred Gilbert.
From the beginning Sculptor Affiliates of the Art Center of NNJ functions as umbrella organization out of the not for profit Art Center NNJ. In 1972 the Art Center was located in the Township of Tenafly, NJ then subsequently moved to its present location in New Milford. NJ.
Our mission is to educate and inform the public of how to view and interact with three dimensional work of art. We do this through teaching, many of our member are educators at various institutions.
We give lectures and offers movie nights showing work of three dimensional artists followed by Q & A and of course we exhibit
our art work in the tri- state area. ( See attached Exhibition Resuem.)
Presently we have a membership of 18 professional artists.
